Pakistan left-arm seamer Mohammad Amir has hit another milestone. In the Caribbean Premier League, he became the ninth bowler in history to take 400 wickets in T20 matches.

How It Happened

Match was against Antigua and Barbuda Falcons. Their score was 77 for 5. Then came Imad Wasim and Fabien Allen. They changed the momentum. Allen smashed 45 from 20 balls, hitting sixes with ease.

Amir stopped him. Full ball, slightly wide. Allen went for the big hit. Did not connect well. Straight into the hands of Darren Bravo at long-on. That was wicket number 400 for Amir.

Amir needed 343 games for this record. Not the fastest, but still quick. Only Rashid Khan (under 300 games) and a few others reached faster. From Pakistan, Wahab Riaz did it in 335 matches.
